The Academy organises short courses in art, architecture and design. Courses run parallel with the Venice Biennale and start on various dates from May until November. Each course is a combination of lectures, workshops and guided visits to architecture studios, museums and the Venice Biennale. Courses are aimed at giving you exclusive insights and teaching you practical skills in a short period of time. All of the courses are in English.
The European Cultural Academy was created by the European Cultural Centre with the wish to unite creative communities, increase visibility, build connections and make a lasting impact on participants career.
Your tutors are people whose responsibility places them at the centre of current creative world. Having workshops and discussions with them in Venice is a unique experience. Our faculty includes artists, architects, designers, curators, gallerists, and scholars from such organizations as ArchDaily, Tate Modern, Oxford University, ArkDesK, Unseen, Talking Galleries and Venice Biennale among others.
